Cincinnati Bengals stadium surrounded by Ohio River water after flooding

Hi everyone, this is Nicole *** Ponte with the WLWT Channel 5. We have been watching as these communities have been preparing for flooding along the Ohio, but this morning we're also taking *** look in Miamitown right along the great Miami River, and we can see right behind us this morning. This is what *** lot of these communities will be waking up to. So we are in the riverfront West Pavilion. There are baseball fields behind us too. I want to give you that look of how high the water levels got last night when this river crested at around 23 ft. It is receding right now, and we can tell it's receding too. So you can see this bench and this door right here as well. If you take *** look at that door right there, there is that black line, and you can see those bricks kind of beneath that black line that are wet. That is. So high the water levels got last night. And if you take *** look behind us too, these are baseball fields completely underwater. We're about *** football field away from where this river starts, but *** lot of the people who live here in these riverfront communities, they are well prepared. They know what's coming their way. They say it is worth it, but these are going to be some of the consequences that, you know, living alongside the river will bring this time of year when these river levels do rise, but they are prepared for anything that comes their way.
